On Monday night (11th) as per the program the Explorer group will be leading the evening.
They have kindly planned an incident hike for the scouts to take part in, which involves a night hike from Hatton back to the Hut in Hilton. During the hike the scouts will be asked to complete a number of challenges.
Due to the hike starting in Hatton the Scouts will need dropping off at the village car park in Hatton just off to the left before the mini roundabout (see map below) at 7:15pm and then will need collecting from the hut at 9:00pm as normal.
As we will be outside for the night the scouts will need to dress appropriately (uniform is not required). Some of the field sections will be quite muddy so we suggest boots, wellies, or stiff walking shoes are worn. Scouts should also bring a drink, snack, and torch with them.
