Monday 9th June

As per the program, we will be completing a night hike on Monday night at the Fauld Crater.

Scouts will need to be dropped off at the Cock Inn car park at 7:00 PM and collected from the same car park at 9:00 PM.

The scouts do not need to be in uniform for the evening; however, we do ask that they wear their neckers. Scouts should be dressed in suitable clothing and footwear, as we will be outside all night. Please note that some of the paths can be slightly overgrown, so long trousers are a better option to prevent nettle stings and bramble scratches.

We ask that all scouts bring a drink and a snack with them.

Any scouts who suffer from asthma should bring their inhaler. Additionally, if any scouts suffer from hay fever, we ask that they take their medication, as some of the paths will be walking across fields where the pollen count is likely to be high.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday night

Welcome Back & Happy New Year

We hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Year, and are getting ready to head back to scout’s for the 2025 Winter / Spring Term.

Scouts will be starting back on Monday 13th Jan.

The Program for this term will be uploaded during the next week and will be accessible on the program page of the web site as normal for you to review and download.

We have also just sent all of you on OSM a personal email requesting for you to check and update your personal details, emergency contacts and any medical / dietary requirements, permission for photos etc. We would be grateful if you spend a few minutes making sure these are up to date. For those older scouts who are not currently on OSM you will receive an email later today with a request and link to set up an OSM account.

Keeping this info up to date will help make camps etc easier and help remove the need for specific camp health forms etc.

We look forward to seeing you all on the 13th.
