Just a quick post to let you know we have arrived at the camp site safe and sound and the scouts are now putting up their tents. We will keep you posted with activity photo updates each day.

All Summer Camp is nearly here, please can I ask those who have not yet returned the camp health and activity permission forms to please do so as soon as possible.

On Wednesday please can you send your scout with a packed lunch and a drink we suggest this is packed in their days sack that they will take in the car with them.

Also please make sure they have had any travel sickness medication if required.

All as per the program we will be finishing the summer term with a night of Archery and wide games at Drum Hill.

Due to numbers we have booked two 1hr Archery sessions so Scouts will need to be dropped off at the main drum hill car park at 6:50pm and collected at 9:00pm.

We will be outside all night so suggest the Scouts bring a drink and snack and wear cloths appropriate for the weather, full uniform is not required just neckers

All, hopefully you have now all seen the exciting fun packed camp program on the summer camp page of the website.

The final payment for camp is now due by a week on Monday 21st July.

Total cost of camp as preveiousley noted is £220 so for those who have paid the £50 deposit a balance of £170 is owed.

Camp health forms, Activity / permission to camp forms and kit lists will be uploaded in to the website later this weekend.

All please accept our appologoes there is an Error / Duplicate on the program. This comming week 7th July we will be at the hut meeting at the normal time of 7:30 Not at Drum Hill doing archery as stated on the program.

All apologies for the late notice however due to the heat and the un expected un availability of enough leaders We are having to cancel Scouts tonight.

As per the program we will be @ Drumhill tonight completing a pioneering exercise.

The Scouts will not need to be in full uniform just in clothes appropriate to the weather (we will be outside all night) as well as wearing the knecker.

We suggest Scouts bring a drink and a waterproof I case we have showers.

Drop off between 7:15 and 7:30 at the main Drumhill carpark and collection at 9:00pm

All as per the program we will be cycling on Monday night.

Parents are welcom to join the evening if they would like to have a cycle out as well.

Scouts will need to arrive at the hut at a slightly earlier time of 7:15, they will need a functioning bike i.e. working brakes, gears (if they have them) and pumped up tyres, scouts must have and be wearing a cycle helmet they will not be able to go on in the activity if they don’t for obvious safety reasons.

We also strongly suggest the scouts bring a drink and a snack and wear appropriate clothing.

The majority of the ride will be off road on the Mickleover trail below is a map of the route.

We will return to the hut by 9pm so scouts will need collecting as normal, we are happy if you wish your scout to cycle home on their own as we arrive back in Hilton but please can you let one of the leaders know when you drop them off or via email so we are aware.

Please can you also make sure your contact details are up to date on OSM.
