We have now received the green light to re-start face-to-face Scout meetings. The same restrictions as prior to the second lockdown will apply.
The Scouts will remain in the two groups of A and B, as we are still only allowed 15 scouts indoors at any one meeting. The Scouts will still be required to wear face masks and socially distance during the indoor meetings.
We have two scout evenings left before Christmas and these will be running as per the program. The Christmas meal, however, due to restrictions, will not be a traditional Christmas hot dinner and will instead be some Christmas snacks etc.
Group A will join us at the hut tomorrow night at 7:30pm for Christmas food and fun. The following week (14th) it will be group B’s turn.
The evening will encompass food and fun along with the scouts completing their Christmas themed performances.
For the week the groups are not at the hut,we would ask for them to complete the photography task as have only received a couple of submissions of these currently.
We recognise with us still being in Tier 3 some scouts may not wish to return to the face-to-face meetings. This is not an issue at all and we fully understand, we just ask for you to please let us know in advance if this is the case.
We look forward to seeing those that can make it over the next couple of weeks.
