As mentioned in a previous blog on the 21st of October, Hilton Scouts will be taking part in the remembrance parade in Hilton on Sunday 11th of November.
We would hope that all of the scout will be able to spare a couple of hours on Sunday morning to take part.
The Scouts will need to meet on the grass outside the Wellbrook Medical Centre at 10am on Sunday morning in full uniform with the Poppy badge attached to their left upper arm. The parade will be called to attention at 10:30. We will March off following Welland Road, then turning on to Humber Street to then enter the Memorial Meadow.
A short service will take place at the Meadow and should finish around 11:15. The Scouts will then walk back across the field to the Scout Hut ready for collection at around 11:25.
Parents are more than welcome to follow the parade and attend the short service. Refreshments will be held at the Village hall following the service in the meadow for those that wish to join.
